Woodstock generation delayed

By the time the Frontier League gets to Woodstock (Ill.) it will be 2011. Plans for a ballpark at McHenry Community College have been delayed and the franchise won't join the league next season. That means with with Normal, Ill., joining next year, the FL has an unworkable 13 franchises. I've yet to hear about construction starting on the ballpark in Oakland County, Mich., so the guess here is that the Midwest Sliders will find a home in Normal next year or the FL will run a traveling team.

The Frontier League doesn't need another "traveling" team. The last one was an utter disaster.
It is very unfair to that team for many reasons, least of all the fatigue factor.
The only traveling team that I recall having any success at all was the Arkansas Travelers.
Being a major league affiliate, their circumstances were considerably different.

groh 1 hit through 7 with a 1-0 lead. makes me a little nervous. this is the kind of game we tend to lose the last two seasons

What I was able to find out about Mylan is interesting. I think we better leave it alone until the turf is actually laid on the field.

Sounds like throwing good money after bad money to me. Just as it would be with the Wild Things.
With the ownership group keeping 51% of the stock the suckers that purchase stock will have NO say in any decesion making.
Just another Frontier League flim-flam!
Working hard to get the real story about Mylan, and the Wild Things. Something stinks!
