All Pro Freight Stadium

WJPA Radio's Randy Gore sent us these photos from All Pro Freight Stadium, the home of the Lake Erie Crushers. It's a 5,000-seat ballpark that opened this season. It has an artificial turf playing surface, except for the pitcher's mound and home-plate area. You should be able to click on each photo and get a larger image.

ooopps!

Meant 'HAND OUT FOR A TIP!'
Who doesn't at CEP?
From the lowest ranking to the highest ranking person they expect you to grease their palm.

Also, I wish the lying turkeys would be more truthful about the "cookies and milk" thing
If thet were they would say "cookies and a small half glass of milk!

The only reason Ernie Banks was suspended is because he is a person of color.
We all no that that thay don’t really won’t a black man of this team and they are just trying to make him look bad. If it he been that sidick dude nothing would have happened. You white crackers all bitching about tax money but don’t say nothing about what thet did to Ernie.

Wait wait wait... You go watch a baseball game and you're complaining about not getting enough milk? Really? Maybe next time you should just bring your own milk. Or drag a cow through the gates. That'll show em. If there's one thing I cannot stand its when baseball teams lie to me about milk.

I went past Consol Field last night on rt 70 east. The grass field looks great.
The pictures sent by Radio Randy look like indoor-outdoor carpet.
Nice park, lousy turf field.
On Ernie Banks, is there any Frontier League rule requiring supspensions required based on the number of times a player is thrown out of the game?

That's right Jamal. All you darkies better watch out now .The minute you act up.POW you will be dealt with accordingly, whether it be suspension, prison,or deportation.
We get tired of your constant bitching and whining.I notice none of you still don't show up at CEP.
Why? Because all you do run your big,fat mouth. You want and want and want.Well Jamal you ain't getting anything..Show up and support "your people".As far as I see.One is a mop up pitcher, the second is batting under .100.And the third can't seem to keep his big yap shut,Kinda like you!!!

Jamal,
Why don’t you just give this race thing a rest? I don’t know what the circumstances with Ernie Banks suspension are – I don’t even care! If the League suspended Ernie, or if it was the Wild Things, I’m sure there was good reason for it. I wish you would give up trying to create a race issue when, in fact, none exists!
If you what to take up a legitimate issue, just think about the tax money that was removed from your wallet
by these people and the fact they will probably do it again!

Another mental midget has posted a brilliant remark.
First of all Farmer John, you can’t take food into the ballpark!
Second, a half a glass of milk is 55% to 60% less than you were told. That is due to the tapered shape
of the glass.
Now, let’s suppose you go into a restaurant and see a ‘special’ that reads “2 cookies and a glass of milk $1”.
When you are served you get 2 cookies and half a glass of milk. Are you ok with that? If you are a wise consumer the answer has to be NO! If you’re a timid little mouse, you are probably all right with that.
Why are the WT any different than any other business? If they advertise a glass of milk, than that is what you should receive. They count on most people to be mice!
In fact, it is they that are being cheap and cheating you. Multiply that out by thousands of half glasses of milk saved over an entire season. It adds up to a tidy little sum. Add to that the other small little cuts in others food items and the profits really add up. The WTs live by the ‘death by a thousand cuts’ theory.
You hardly feel it but it bleeds you to death anyway!
Bob is right. They should say cookies and a “HALF” glass of milk. The Circus cheats are still in town.

Does anybody with a first grade education or higher really take "Jamal" seriously? Do you really have to be a member of MENSA to figure out that "Jamal" is simply a white redneck trying to stir the pot with his illiterate reverse-racism rantings? He intentionally spells words incorrectly in a pathetic attempt to indicate that black people are of inferior intelligence. And of course nothing could be further from the truth. Stupid people come in all different colors, ages, and sizes. He should be IGNORED from beyond this post, and he will go away like yesterday's news. But you cater to his every idiotic post, and feed the fire, thus prompting me to finally post.
Actually, I could say the same about some of the other notorious "regulars" on this blog. They must monitor the blog around the clock just waiting to pounce and slander somebody. "Jamal" has been an obvious fake from day one and I can't believe you've let him become one of the more popular blogger's here.
One last thing, have you ever noticed the blue "preview" box next to "publish your comment"? I suggest a lot of you use it, as many blogger's grammatical skills have made me completely lose faith in the western Pennsylvania educational system.
And you wonder why true baseball fans who want to discuss baseball on this blog stay away?
Have a good day. Just sign me,
A real baseball fan.

I heard during the broadcast tonight that Kedrick Martin is likely going to be activated from the disabled list tomorrow. Any guesses as to who will be removed from the roster to make room for him? Other than Eachues, Groh, Lucas, Peterson and McCollough (who pitched tonight), I figure that any other pitcher is fair game.
I look for the Wild Things to pick up a pitcher with L1 status somewhere in the near future. Demons is currently tying up 1 of the 7 L1 classifications on the roster, and I look for him to leave and be replaced with a rookie.
Ernie Banks, if you're out there in blog-land, I hope you come to your senses and come back to the team. You can't hit homers from the showers, right?

What happened, why was he suspended, etc.
I don't ever recall anyone on the Wild Things suspended for such a long period of time. Must have been something way out of line.

When you get thrown out of two games in a three-night period (both times between innings) maybe you need to be reminded that this is a team game.

Ron,
Does the name Matt Sutton seem familiar?
He was suspended for the balance of the year in 2008.

Correction on my earlier post. The Wild Things have actually been playing with a 23 man roster since they suspended Banks and released Evans and Austin. Raniere tooks Banks' roster spot, and McCullough filled 1 of the 2 pitching vacancies. The activation of Martin today from the disabled list, in fact, brings the roster back to a full 24.
Matt Sutton was not suspended for the entire season in 2008. He was suspended briefly before he was released. He was free to sign with anybody else at that time. He signed with the Wild Things again this spring, of course.
Just to pass along a note to true baseball enthusiasts. I attended the Butler Blue Sox game (Collegiate Prospect League) this evening. If you live within range of the town, I recommend checking them out. It's good ball. However, I am disappointed to see they are only averaging less than 350 per game. That's about how many were there this evening, if not less. I will say this though....the atmosphere at the Wild Things games is better than anywhere else I've been. (that also includes Altoona Curve games) I've read quite a few complaints on this blog, but appreciate what you have in your town before it's gone. If I lived in the Washington area, I'd surely be a season ticket holder.
