2012 London games

Problems for the London Rippers continue to mount. There's the lousy attendance. There's no license to sell beer at home games. Now, there is a rumor that the Rippers will become a road team for the remainder of the season.

As I've written previously, the Frontier League doesn't need London and all the problems that come with having a team located there.

Stu should offer to have London play the remainder of their games in Washington when the Wild Cubs are on the road. Their attendence would triple, Stu could keep the beer profits and perhaps they could split the parking revenue but they might have to contend with a power outage.

Wild Cubs
Buttons
Banjo
Frito Bandito
Wild Clowns
Bando Bunch
Showboat Lenny Randle
Bojangles Bando
Lurch
B.P. Blackwell

Seems like a lot of people in Washington get very brave when they can hide behind an Anonymous identity. I wonder how many people tossing around these less than flattering names would have the nads to say these things to the person's face? None I suspect.

Chris, you can clean up alot of this by making people create a Google account and signing on before they spew their childish namecalling.

Grow up, folks.

I never thought that the Rippers logo or nickname was on what one person called, the "Darkside".
The beer license problem should have been resolved before the season started. I don't think baseball is a very big deal in Canada anyhow.
Is there a chance that the Wild Things could land any of the players the Rippers released? The Wild Things could do without Buttons on the team don't you think?
Now the idea of having the Wild Things host the rest of the Rippers schedule is interesting, but I don't think that could happen. I would probably attend a lot of those games if they did.

Grow up, folks."
Why don't YOU be the first to grow up?
Could not help but notice that your cowardly fanny used the Anonymous option.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black?
Time for YOU to grow up!

Buttons – A reference to Michael Bando not buttoning his shirt – True, he doesn’t
Showboat Lenny Randall – He’s not a Showboat? – Sure he is.
Wild Cubs – Referring to the similarity to the team’s uniform to the Chicago Cubs, and the fact
they play almost equally poorly – Is this not the case?
Wild Clowns – That doesn’t ring a bell? You have not been paying close attention.
Frito Bandito – I don’t get that one.
Bando Bunch – Another case of not paying attention. While much better players that might actually help
the team are released, Daddy’s boy stays on the roster while contributing almost nothing.
Bojangeles Bando – I don’ get that one, either.
Lurch – A humorous reference to a now released player.
B.P. Blackwell – Never heard that one – don’t understand what it is supposed to mean.
All pretty funny stuff. I suppose you don’t think the players and staff don’t make fun of the fans?
Get a life!
