Record-tying month
The Wild Things wrapped up a forgettable June with an 8-6 come-from-ahead loss Saturday night at London. It left Washington with a 9-19 record in June, which ties the franchise record for most losses in a month.
This is the third time 11 seasons that the Wild Things have lost 19 games in a month. In June of 2010, they went 10-19. The worst month in franchise history was August of 2009 when they were 8-19.

If the Wild Cubs have to send a player to the All-Star Game, I think it should send Michael Bando to represent the horrible failure this season has become with Daddy at the helm.
Might just as well send the best of the worst to represnt the worst of the worst.

All is well with the Wild Cubs. I know because I got the word from Stu Williams himself. I mentioned to him that the season ticket holders were getting upset. His answer? “You are not giving them a chance”.
Well, that’s good enough foe me, I’ll give them about another 10-12 weeks.

The only way the Wild Cubs will have a player on the all-star team is if the league requires every team to have a rep on the team. Can you name one player who is playing at an all-star level? No.
Any chance there is a lock on that "cubby" hole?
I think the All-Star should be Radio Randy for sitting through all these sad games and Chris Dugan for writting about this bunch of losers.

Best comment yet this year on this blog, that pretty much sums up this disaster of a season.
Today's game must have been pretty painful to listen to, to those who did. 5 walks by the starting pitcher, and 4 errors. And they manage to lose despite their opponent committing a whopping 5 errors. Did Bando manage to get through the entire game without getting tossed this time?
I wonder what percentage of season ticket holders can name even 3 starting position players when they enter the gate, with the countless number of transactions made already?
Does anybody else wonder if these owners are purposely tanking it, ala the Cleveland Indians team in the movie "Major League", in order to kill ticket sales and justify skipping town soon? With all of the cost increases to the fan, their ONLY hope of getting big crowds was to field a winning team. And as of now, they have the worst record in the entire league. Well done!
Thank you, Stu Williams, for killing off my enjoyment of following the Wild Things. Do us a favor and fire yourself.
