Nothing like spending some time reading this blog and the comments from the brain-dead trailer trash who leave comments on this thing. Why I don't do this more often I don't know. It's a laugh a minute. All you people do is bitch, bitch bitch and then bitch some more. I've read that most of the Wild Things fans are old and judging by attendance the funeral home business in Washington must be doing a brisk business. Catching up with the Wild Things on this blog I've discovered that the pitcher needs a haricut, the first baseman doesn't button his jersey, the team is on the verge of moving, the team is boring, the franchise is dying, the Wild Things are obsessed with the Pecos League, a player looks like Lurch from the Adamms Family, there is no class in Washington, there is no class in the Wild Things ownership, somebody linked the first baseman's unbuttoned jersey to the demise of the franchise, the first baseman has an ego and the most obvious thing I noticed is ... nobody on this blog knows how to spell. Confirms what I've always said, Wild Things fans = trailer trash. Enjoy another lousy season. I'll go back to rooting for my River City Rascals, a team that makes the playoffs every year.

Ewell (the Whip) Blackwell, what a great baseball name from the past. He played for The Cincinnati Reds back in the day when I was about a ten year old Pirates fan. Since most of you probably were not even around at that time I won’t bore you with a lot of baseball nostalgia stuff.
For those interested in such stuff, check out Wikipedia or some other on-line source. He was one of baseball’s grand old players with his famous unconventional delivery. I got a feeling Eric Blackwell will have a tough living up to
anything Ewell Blackwell did.

Was that a quiver of life I thought I saw at London? Was it the Wild Things finally showing some signs of coming around OR, was it the Rippers having death convulsions? Attendance: 407, not good at all!

Can’t help but wonder how many Wild Things experienced their last game with the team and were released when the bus arrived back home. I can think of two that should have been sent packing. Tonight will begin a slightly tougher test for the team. Seeing that I am one of the season ticket holders that can’t afford the cold water prices at CEP, I’ll just stay home and listen on the radio – They will never even miss us!

B.P. Blackwell strikes again, or gets struck again, and again, and again.
