Blue bayou

The O-R's Joe Tuscano snapped this photo today of the Wild Things' new home uniform. The pinstripes are royal blue.

I'm not much of a fan of the change for a couple of reasons: I've never liked pinstripes (maybe that's because they remind me of the Yankees) and I don't understand what blue has to do with the Wild Things. They went to a purple jersey a couple of years ago, and I can understand that move because purple was in the original logo.

At least the Wild Things will no longer have the same predominant color scheme as Lake Erie and Florence.

After reading Chris Dugan's article about the new catcher Ochoa, a few things jumped out at me.
If Ocaoa is even half as good as HE thinks he is, we've got a winner on our hands. But, this kid doesn't mind tooting his own horn, does he?
Trouble is we have all heard this tune before here with the Wild Things. Ochoa says he hates losing - no kidding? Show me a good loser and I'll show you a real loser.
So Mr. Ochoa, please don't be so cocky until you actually show us what you've got. You say Mr. Everson likes you but his talent evaluation last year proved to be lacking, to say the least. Your résumé includes progressing down the ladder of organized baseball!
It's what you prove you can do between the lines, not what you say you can do in the newspaper.
Show me! Please don't tell me.
You do have the adventage of taxpayer funded turf here.

Look much more like the Chicago Cubs Royal Blue pinstripes than the Yankees Navy Blue stipes to me.

If the WT start winning ball games, who really cares what the colors are?

Just gonna let you guys know you guys are the worst fans. Things may have been bad lately but you have to realize last year was the first year for a lot of players on the roster. About 5 of those players made the Baseball America top INDY ball prospects. The fact is yes bad record, but you guys are spo stucl on that record that you bash every move as if you are a baseball genius. You arent and its obvious. Things were ugly but at the same time the team showed promise against top teams.
Talk about whats going on, fine.
But you guys are bashing players that havent played yet.
Dont act like im a random person Im close enough with the team to know whata going on and to know you dont. Just saying think just a little bit before you react

Because I was putting labels on each blog entry last night so it would be easier to search for subjects or persons. This is the last one I updated.
