It's been a long time

Zac Fuesser delivers a pitch Wednesday against River City.

If nothing else, the Wild Things' doubleheader split Wednesday night with River City accomplished one thing:

Washington is assured of finishing with a winning record for the first time since 2007, when it was 55-40.

The Wild Things are certainly going to make the playoffs if they can play .500 ball the reat of the way.

Good News - Bad News

The bad news is that Stu and Steve will be back destroying, I mean, managing the WT next year.
The good news is....wait a minute, the bad news was SO bad I almost forgot the good news. Oh yeah, the WT lost last night.
Now everybody remember to keep"Packing the Park". You all did great last night with all of 1,100, INCLUDING no-shows. I just love seeing Stu's house as empty as his head.

It's not Stu's house, it's our house. It won't be packed again until the rats flees the sinking ship. 1,100 last night...yeah, right. I'm sure all the parking revenue makes up for no one coming on dollar beer Dixie Cup Night. Everything is set up to rob the few misguided souls who have absolutely nothing better to do than waste their time going to WT games.

I stopped going to games after Ijames, Montgomery and CJ left. Can't understand some of the roster changes which is why they are probably loosing...poor management and coaching. Wish Bart Zeller was still at the helm. Loved watching good defense and hitting which is not happening now aside from a few players like Bell and Kalamar

They retired Chris Sidick's number last night. What a pee-poor, woefully short ceremony. They could have at least waited until a couple minutes before game time to start the procedings. A Lot of fans that wanted to see this event were disappointed to arrive and find it was already over.
Of course the ringmaster, Stu Williams, wore his best phony crap eating grin.
Anyway, Chris was classy, as usual. Too bad things have changed so much since he was with the team. This is now a completely classless organization and not getting any better.
Please, force these jerks to change by keeping Consol Empty Park just that. EMPTY!

Not only was the ceremony sub-standard but, after the game, the fireworks were the worst of the season. I suppose Stu is losing money and had to hire the Fly By Night fireworks company. Freakin' loud music all through the display so you could almost not hear the fireworks. Just why do they think playing music during the display adds anything to the show?
I'm not returning to Consol the rest of the year. Keep the balpark as empty a possible. Who needs this stuff? Only the gullible lemmings.

Thought the ceremony was excellent even though Chris Sidick could have worn something better than shorts and a t-shirt and a ballcap. Fireworks have been pretty good this year can't complain. Hope 11:11 stays away the rest of the year. He's probably just one of those miserable old farts living off income from a fake disability.

I attended the game last night and I thought the ceremony for Chris Sidick was very nice and appropriate. Phil Warren, manager of Gateway was there last night. It would have been better to have it on a night when Warren was not present since the two ex players "hate" each other. Too bad Stu appeared. Are they selling Rebellion tickets for 2015?
I think the next person to have his number retired in Nuno who has pitched in the majors most of the season. The only ex Wild Thing player to appear in a major league game.
