Clock is ticking

Two weeks until the Frontier League open tryout and draft at Consol Energy Park, which has me thinking ... shouldn't the London Rippers hire a manager or are they going to wait until after the all-star break?

London hired Mike Lumley, head coach at the University of Western Ontario, to their coaching staff on Feb. 13, and lists Matt Dillard on their website as the team's bench coach. As for the manager, there has been no announcement.

A disturbing trend of Frontier League managers signing players and then either releasing or trading them just before the start of spring training. Not good for Independent Baseball.
