Another former Wild Thing with big game in playoffs

Former Wild Things outfielder Quincy Latimore (41 games in 2013) had impressive game Friday night in the Eastern League playoffs, hitting two home runs, two doubles, going 4-for-5 and driving in six runs in Bowie's 11-3 victory over the Altoona Curve.

Latimore's big game gives Bowie a 2-1 lead in the best-of-5 semifinal series.

Maybe if all the "former Wiltdthings "players" were still current pkayers the season outcome might have been a little different.

The comments get on this blog get more idiotic every day. Maybe the Wild Things should just lock up every player with lifetime contracts so they can't further their careers and refuse to sell their contracts to affiliated ball.

Quincy is in Double A. I would much rather see guys move up to affiliated or higher indy leagues than keep them here and hold them back just so the team can win. That's not the overall goal of indy ball.

Indy baseball, at the very best, is inferior to affiliated ball.
Owner idiots as Stu Williams and GM's as dumb as Steve Z just make
it worse. No need to worry about it anymore in Washington because
the Wild Things will be leaving after the 2016 season.
You may notice they are not making any attempt to deny it. In other words -
they are out of here. I think we should all just boycott them next
year so that Stu loses as much money as possible. He has screwed us and
we should return the favor in spades! This man was a disaster from the minute
he took ownership and the franchise has sunk faster than the Titanic. Bill Lee
needs to do something but it's probably beyond his control. It would be nice
if Mr. Lee made some sort of statement about the future of the Wild Things.
I would say something nice about Mr. Williams but to quote a once highly placed
ex-employee; "Stu Williams is just not a very nice person". No kidding? I've
seen rattlesnakes that were nicer than this guy. That's what happens when money
becomes the determining factor on everything you do.
So Stu - on to Parkersburg. Beware Parkersburg, you are about to get it stuck
to you the same way he did to us.

Have you ever noticed that the person who complains about the owner and the GM on every entry on this blog always does with a time of 3:30 AM to 6 AM? You have to be a pretty bitter old fool to get out of bed that early every day and complain about two people you probably have never met. Either that or your a former Wild Things employee who got canned and still holds a grudge.

You think maybe that the owner and GM are doing a great job? Maybe you should not be posting at any time. The fact I once worked there, and you know about it, shows that somebody in the front office has almost as big a mouth as you. I left because of a the stupid politics that goes on there. My points are still nevertheless valid.
So either go back to sleep, or don't read the things you don't like.

You were canned and you get up at the crack of dawn to blog about your former bosses. Hahahahahahaha. You're a big man. Stupid politics? More like you probably didn't want to do what your boss told you to do. Grow up.
