Helisek to DL

Kyle Helisek, who pitched eight shutout innings Thursday night at River City, has been placed on the 14-day disabled list by the Wild Things.

Helisek (2-1, 0.96) was replaced on the roster by Kyle Vazquez (0-0, 11.57), who was activated from the DL. Though the transaction on the Frontier League website does not designate when the DL stint for Helisek started, I will assume it is retroactive to May 29. That means Helisek, who threw 109 pitches in the win over the Rascals, will be on the DL until at least June 12.

So.....? What difference, at this point, does it make?
How about Bart Zeller to the Ozark League? Forget them
because it has nothing to do with the present day WT.

It's a Wild Things alum and some of us like to follow former players. Relax.

Anonymous 3:51, be kind.
Nuno is the only Wild Thing player to ever play in a major league game. Show some respect for the player and yes being a former Wild Thing player, it does have something to do with the Wild Things. I bet most of the Wild Thing players follow Nuno's career.
It is nice to hear what former Wild Thing players are doing.
