From the Pecos to Washington?

The Wild Things have been playing with 23 active players -- one under the Frontier League limit -- during the current series at Lake Erie. That might change sometime this week.

According to a story published on the Pecos League website, the Wild Things have acquired infielder Sam Montgomery from the Roswell Invaders. No word from the Wild Things or the Frontier League about this transaction, but the story was dated June 15 on the Pecos League website.

Montgomery is a first-year pro from Sonoma State and is hitting .446 with 43 RBI through 33 games for the Invaders.

One thing you will notice about the story (link below) is it also mentions that Montgomery will be playing for Joliet.

Mid June, Wild Things doing great. Almost no interest from the readers. So, what's wrong? I think the WT cut their own throat over the last 2-3 years. Williams is such an unfriendly man that no body can like him. Probably the reason the Rebellion manager quit.
He sure isn't the first one to walk out on Williams. Only Steve Z would willingly put up with his stuff.

Doing great? You must be drinking the Kool-Aid. Look at the standings and tell me what is the WWT's record vs. teams with winning records? I betcha it's not good.

To Anon 6:14:
Bertagnolli resigned Wednesday morning. Stacey Rice, who was an assistant for the Rebellion and the head coach at Slippery Rock University, is running the team.

To Anon 7:31:
Using records through Thursday night, the Wild Things are 2-7 against teams at .500 or better.

I've painstakingly compiled the list of all the successful players that Washington has acquired from the Pecos League:

Signed,
Pecos Tim Ferguson

(p.s. I haven't gotten better at my job yet... in large part because I don't have one)

Stu Williams couldn't afford a biethday gift to wife Frannie? Come now, she went to the ball game last night to pick up the sweetheart flowers of the night. That's nepotism and don/t approve. The flowers are supposed to go to one of the regular attendees. Only fair.

Attendance is becoming an embarrassment - what can we do?
Parking is screwed up again. Frannie must be back.

The Wild Things need to improve their game or something. Just because they win a few games doesn't mean they are on the ball. Attendance is a thorn in my side and something drastically needs to be done. Hey Mr. Stu Williams, get Frannie out of the ball park and tell her to leave the parking situation alone. A lot of handicapped people are really miffed about where they are supposed to park. Last two years there were assigned places and it worked out great. What happened?.

I agree with "dumbfounded". What can we do to make the games and attendance better?
