Best photos ever of a manager being ejected

Stumbled across this slideshow by an excellent photographer named David Richard, who works in the Cleveland area. It's a series of photos from a Frontier League game last season involving the Lake Erie Crushers and River City Rascals. Lake Erie manager John Massarelli is being ejected by home-plate umpire Jeremy Stangelo following two balk calls.

There are at least three photos in this slideshow that I'd consider award-winning caliber.

Enjoy.

Watch the slideshow here.

Yeah, that numb-skull pulled the same foaming mouth trick when he managed the WT. Same crap - different team.

You should get Matt or someone to pull some photos from the 2007 season. There were 2 great series of shots of Maz being ejected. I believe a hat throw near the pitchers mound is involved.

Yancy...I think the hat throw was at home plate. The ump was Paul Lancaster and the conversation went something like this...

Mazz..."Paul, my team is playing like $hit"

Paul..."that's your problem"

Mazz..."I can't stand watching them anymore, what do I have to do to get thrown out so I can grab an early shower"

Paul..."take off your hat, call me a few vulgar names and throw your hat on the plate"

Mazz...(as Mazz slams his hat into homeplate) "that's no problem, you stinking rotten so and so..."

Paul..."you wanted it, you got it...get the f%&k outta here..."

Maybe Maz should give John Russel some lessons.

River City plays on a grass field with good drainage. That is what the Washington stadium should be, drainage installed, natural grass, and eliminate the taxpayer turf.
Two games with rain delays, but stilled played and not ducks in the outfield conditions.

I believe in 2007 we went to the last game of the championship so whomever wrote the "conversation" between Mazz and the umpire you are an idiot and should get your facts straight before writing idiotic remarks like that.

and Grant, if my memory serves me correctly, you had a 2-0 lead in a best of 5 championship series and failed to close the deal (losing games 3 and 4 at home)...remember this, no one remembers, or cares, who finished second!

The poster directly above this one needs a punch in the face. Very cheap shot thrown about the 2007 season, which had absolutely nothing to do with the comments made. Grow up, and try to make your point without sounding like a 12 year old tattle tale.

facts are facts...nothing cheap about his comment about the 2007 team...

the 2007 team won the first 2 games of the Championship season on the road, came home and lost the next 2. They then traveled back to Windy City where if my memory serves me correctly, they got blown out in game 5.

They then proceeded to act like 12 year olds and not talk to the press. This is the plain and simple truth. No cheap shots, just the facts.

I think Joey T. was just bantering about some humor, but it must have hit a nerve with Mr. Dorn.
