Sandford's status and the WBC
Haven't seen anything on the Wild Things or Frontier League websites about this, but according to some tweets Washington outfielder Darin Sandford (pictured) has had his contract purchased by the Chicago White Sox. Sandford set the FL record with 71 stolen bases last year while playing for Washington and Southern Illinois. He was acquired from the Miners in a late-season trade.* Has anyone been watching the World Baseball Classic? I didn't think so. But you might find it interesting that there is a Wild Things tie to the WBC. Former Washington catcher Blake Ochoa is one of three catchers on the roster for Spain, which begins Pool C play Friday against Puerto Rico.

Wonderful, all the talent disapering. Wonder if Heck gets picked up. oh well. Pirates will suck to. Man, pittsburgh area teams are awful. Let,s move to New york.

Another one gone Jhony Montoya got traded to the Lancaster Barnstormers for a player to be named later. Also that guy named Mario Yepez is out for 60 days. Sirecly, wh are all the guys from last year all the sudden leaving? I liked Montoya alot. Good luck to him in whatever the hell league he's in. Sure it's better than the FL.
