Wow, maybe there is a baseball god after all? Seriously, how in the world did that guy have a managerial career for so long? Could anything have been more pathetic than having your own kid be the worst hitter on the team, and continue occupying a roster spot? Well yes, there was....Bando saying he was more or less building a foundation of a team....in a league where there is probably at least 50% roster overhaul each season. Clueless.
Regarding the previous post, it will not shock me at all if the upcoming Bridgeport franchise is INDEED the Wild Things simply relocating. Once you've ticked off enough customers that don't come back, a business simply dies. This is a critical year for the franchise, and I really doubt if they will fill the seats. Not unless there is a "Under New Management" sign above the entrance to the ballpark.
As far as player news, I'd be interested in watching Quintavious Drains, the knuckleball pitcher the team just signed. Best name ever on the team, for sure.
I'd have to say the best name was Condor Cash.
I wish Mr. Bando a speedy recovery. The pleasant weather in CA is his to enjoy for a long time.
